I wanted to know more about what punters thought of Betclic. So I took a stroll through my favorite sites: the App Store, the Google Play Store, and Trustpilot. My first step is to weight the overall rating of the stores that we see at first glance, to have a more recent rating based on the last 100 reviews left (a review from 2020 is less important than a review posted in 2025, the app has had time to change a lot in the meantime).

Are the odds really that low?
I noticed that several users were complaining about the odds being too low. So I took some time to find out if it was really true. In terms of odds, it is rather average . However, after comparing Unibet, Winamax and Parions sport (then on a dozen different matches and sports), they remain very correct. You should know that in general, there are not big differences between French bookmakers. The ultra-regulated market does not allow for big differences.
I also looked at the margins (the money the bookmaker earns on each bet) and Betclic overall, on a dozen bets, has a lower margin than Unibet: 6% for Betclic against 7% Unibet. Nothing to report on that side either, the bookmaker respects its users rather well.
